Iana Makokha Amke
Research scientist - KEMRI
Iana completed her bachelor's in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from JKUAT. Over the years, she has volunteered in hospitals and research laboratories. Her work involves studies on antimicrobial resistance. Moreover, she has been a part of the Commonwealth Women's Mentorship program.
Elsie Isiye
Research Scientist - Center for Microbiology Research
Elsie completed her bachelor's in Genomic Sciences from JKUAT. She has since been involved in research on surveillance of tropical and infectious diseases in KENYA. She has interned at the US Army Medical Research Directorate. She is currently working on a research project that addresses Antibacterial Resistance.
Brian Mahehu Kagondu
Design Engineer - Safal Building Systems
Brian is a Civil Engineer by profession. He completed his education at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Chess has been a part of his life for the longest period and he even participated in the world youth chess championship in Antalya. He is a champion for networking and purposeful mentorship because it had a big impact on his life. Aside from being a YS mentor, he is also a mentor at EduYouth where they provide technical vocational training to young people.
Korah Karanja
Managing Director - myPrimePay
Korah completed both a BSc in Public Administration and an Associate degree in Leadership and Management from Strathmore university. He's passion lies in enabling technological Value Addition in the retail and service sectors. Over the years, he has been involved in several projects such as moAirtime, KouponZetu and Sema.
